A rare black stone composed of up to 99% carbon, worn for its purported grounding, protective, and EMF-shielding properties. Found almost exclusively near Shunga, a village in Karelia, Russia, shungite is believed by many crystal practitioners to be at least 2 billion years old, predating organic life on Earth.
